Investigators have not released details on what led to the killing, and the PPD has not reported any arrests. Anyone with information is asked to call or text the police tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).
Philadelphia has recorded 93 murders this year, down about 15% compared to 2024 and the lowest total at this point on the calendar in at least 18 years, according to PPD data.
